Patriots Revolt is growing by leaps with regard to web site visits and pledges, but it will take active reaching out to expand….telling your email friends, writing letters to editor. Dear Editor,

Every indication reflects a growing uneasiness in America with regard to the two major political parties. It may be safe to say it goes beyond uneasiness, approaching deep anger toward politicians and parties in general.

America seems to be asking what happened to “of the people, by the people, for the people”, not of the elite, by the party, for the few?

Patriots Revolt www.patriotsrevolt.com is a recent movement that allows America to step outside the two major political parties and exercise the power of the people without being constrained by a political apparatus. It doesn’t much matter where they come from; what their religion is or not; whether they’re black, white, or some other color…male or female…Democrat, Republican or Independent. What American seems to be saying is “I am America and I no longer matter.”

We the people are being betrayed, abandoned, deceived, and used as pawns in a political system which gives us no voice. America is crying for a vehicle that “will give them” a means to be recognized. A line in the sand has been drawn by Patriots Revolt…America is invited to visit www.patriotsrevolt.com and become a part of what our Constitution intended.

Patriots Revolt is a ray of sunshine to forgotten Americans…thousands have become aware,several hundred are encouraged and offered their comments in a one or two sentence feedback fashion. Our efforts can also be a relief to millions, if they know about it…help spread the word.

Most patriots don’t mention McCain or Obama in comments…where the passion erupts is their empirical evidence that the political system and in particular the two major parties have abandoned America. I am talking about ordinary America, the bedrock that makes America tick, the tax payers, the folks that work every day, the Moms and Dads trying to make it, trying to raise their children with hopes of a better life. The folks that fall into the “of the people, for the people, by the people” voices are the ones abandoned. If one is not part of the political apparatus, an elite in a party, part of a small circle of political operatives, then your voice is ignored. Can we even be confident our votes are recorded and counted anymore?

There have been a few that mention my personal anger as seeping through observations I make, and I respect counsel. To be sure, I am angry, livid, in rage at the political system, the two major parties, the manner in which it manipulates the lives of Americans…the self-centered, arrogant agenda driven operation, and general disregard for “we the people”.. I hold no personal anger to any politician…not to Obama, McCain, nothing pointed to individuals, but anger at their actions, what they do or fail to do.

As an example. Currently Senate Majority Leader Reid and Speaker Pelosi are refusing to allow open discussion and amendments to energy (read fuel) legislation. They fear members of the Senate and House (both parties) would agree on a resolution that would be good for America, and it may give one party or the other, in this case the republicans, a political advantage in November’s presidential election. If this isn’t a recipe for anger, rage, I don’t know what the political system will have to do to wake America up.

There you have it, waking Up America is what Patriots Revolt is about…a revolt against the two major party political games that penalize America solely for political gain of an incestuous political apparatus. The Congress is well aware America is being raped at the gas pumps, by the Middle East profiteers, the speculators, but politicians use the citizens pain to manipulate themselves a “larger personal trough”. Does it get more despicable than this? Can this be tolerated another 5, 10, 20 years…let our Grandchildren grapple with the problem? It should not be delayed any more…we have allowed the political system to turn us into slaves and it’s our responsibility to “break free”.

If you haven’t visited Patriots Revolt web site in the last few days, take another look, browse through the blogs and forums. At 10:30 PM, 7-23-08 there were over 350 visitors on line at the same time…quite remarkable and significant I’m told, even for a major site, let alone an new one.We are being heard. You will find many features on the site that make it easy to write letters to editors, send letters to politicians,email to major media/talk show hosts, post your thoughts on your own blog or add to the forum, comment on others observations and generally stay in touch. Don’t forget to send your “tea bag” letters to Congress…make it happen,let them know a tea party is coming.

Should the Republican Convention vote “no confidence” on McCain on the first ballot, we will have a new republican candidate. Democrats should consider the same action…Obama in Berlin addressing “people of the world”, talking down America is not my idea of leadership America needs….neither McCain nor Obama are right for America. They have too many negatives that point to selling America’s sovereignty, subjecting future generations to a clock that is ticking toward losing freedom as we know it.

There will be a third party candidate suggested that can turn America on it’s political head. If we stick together and put America before political party allegiance a miracle will happen.

I would urge each and every one of us to switch party affiliation right now if we are Democrat or Republican. Change to Independent. We need millions to do this…..there is no way the major parties can overlook losing party members…the primaries are over switching will not impact your ability to vote for who you want to……just do it.

We need to stand up folks or we’ll wake up kneeling, and it won’t be to a sovereign God.

Many of you sent comments when you completed the pledge form at Patriots Revolt web site. Those of you that commented will find your contribution below. This only reflects those that commented, not the entire list of those that pledged. There has been no editing or omissions.

The comments were offered in light of the stated goals of Patriots Revolt and as messages to Americas political leaders. Remember this movement was just started a few days ago….we are grass roots without any major national media source to help with our message. It takes me, you, your email list, your blog, your letter to your local paper, your family, your group, et al, to spread our message.

I sent a letter to editor, it was published in the local paper and resulted in six Patriots signing our pledge…..everyone can do the same..take some words from stuff I have sent, use your own words, word from our web site, whatever it takes to get a letter out…there is no pride of authorship in anything I write…you use it as your own if it fits.

Forgive the length of the email. The purpose of providing this feedback is for information and to share what America is thinking and to let you know we’re not alone…often we hear what polls say, what some talking head shares…..the comments below come from Americans that have been abandoned by the elite political apparatus in America….the tangible betrayal of American citizens is all around us…the rudder in America is broke.

It will be painful to restore what we have lost. For sure it won’t start by electing more of the same…selecting the “lesser evil” so to speak. It takes a measure of backbone, courage, guts, however one describes bucking the system and charting an “uprising” in America to stop the “criminal rape of our citizens”. I admit there is a certain amount of fear in electing a candidate…America is addicted to a political apparatus that is destroying our country…it may take a catastrophic event for America to begin the road to recovery.

When we have two presidential candidates that alienate ordinary, hard working Americans the way McCain and Obama do, it makes no sense to elect either one…..we have to do what we can to show the political establishment in America the “robot” like obedience to one party or the other is over.

I pray for a miracle to alter the conditions and choices we have for our presidential options.

Patriots Revolt has shot off like a rocket…..the web site has barely gotten off the ground and we’re well entrenched on the search engines and gaining steam every day, hundreds if not thousands have visited our site. Many additionl tools will be added to the site in coming days.

Our pledges are coming from all over America and even from Canada. A lady from Winchester, VA pretty well sums it all up: I believe our Founding Fathers set up the best way for the people of this country to be governed. The Constitution is not made up of “suggestions”. I also believe that this country and it’s Constitution are worth fighting for to the end.

We have received dozens of passionate comments, all focused on America…it’s not about persons our mail talks about, it’s the pleading for action….with a loud cry “I WANT AMERICA BACK”.

In just a few days, our numbers are well over a hundred patriots that have already made the tough commtiment and signed our pledge to not vote for McCain unless he honors our “demands”…we will not compromise. Our numbers will increase exponentially as word of our effort circulates…remember we are not nationally known but a grass roots movement that will gain traction of massive proportiion…critical that each of us pass our message to email list, write letters to editors, organize local rallies, demonstrations, with signs challenging McCain, etc…I would mention we received one pledge that “disagrees”…his courage to take his stand is honored.

In short, we’ve barely gotten off the ground and our message is resonating with America in a dramatic fashion. Many of us are finally to the point of saying, and it pains my heart to consider the ramifications, but if it takes Obama, a man that has been taught in the Muslim educaton system who is opposed to basic moral teachings, to wake America up, then friends, maybe that’s the painful penalty we must bear and what it will take…God help us.

The continued decade after decade of incestuous republican and democrat elites ruling America while the people are abandoned has reached a point totally intolerable…we are on the path to political revolt. Pray it goes no farther.

Have you noticed the Republican National Convention web site has a tab for “en espanol” just like the Democrats Convention page? What’s wrong with English? Do you think Americans need to speak in spanish to converse about American election issues? We know where Obama sleeps, what additional evidence do we need of McCain’s leanings to the illegal alien community?

Several have asked about the time-line for our efforts…right now our task is for all of us to do everything we can to spread the message that “the revolt against the criminal political rape of America has been joined.”

We need some organization, which is being worked on, but mainly we need to raise an Army willing to stand up and say “we’ve had enough”.

My personal prayer is that our webmaster will find the web site crashing soon because of the tens of thousands of patriots that want to join us……..

I have been implicit and usually very explicit as to my belief that America is in serious jeopardy on many fronts. Millions of citizens in America seem to agree with me…will we take the radical action necessary and reverse the threat?

While America is still the most wonderful place on the earth to live, the question I suggest is “can we keep it that way” with the incompetent political leadership we’ve had over the past few years and the caliber of talent on the horizon?

America is thirsting for national figures that stand up courageously, can say what they mean without being fed by handlers, have a heart for America that cannot be denied. Neither McCain or Obama are up to the task, falling far short of what it takes to lead the greatest nation on earth.

We have major issues that leadership, to include the candidates, seem unable to grasp. Our moral condition continues to deteriorate, fuel prices punish all Americans, lawlessness expands unabated, illegal immigration is out of control, a Supreme Court that uses ideology or imaginary rationale to decide major cases, neither party in congress can accomplish anything for citizens, a congress that publicly surrenders to barbaric murderers while America blood still flows on the battlefield, American cities harbor criminals in defiance of law without sanction,an Administration that will pardon a bureaucrat but leave railroaded border guards in prison, send our men and women to war and then prosecute them for doing their job, politicans serve in-your-face notice they will spend any amount of your tax dollars where and when they want, on and on……..folks this is just a sample.

Think about it. Both presidential candidates lack any solid base of where they stand. Have we heard either John McCain or Barak Obama announce principles they believe in and will not compromise? Have we heard these candidates forcefully commit to a list they absolutely reject? It seems acceptable for a candidate to deceive until one group is convinced, then move to another group and deceive again, and again…we have no checks and balances to hold them accountable…the political mechanism and media control our thoughts and limit our voices. Don’t you want a candidate that has the courage to stand before America and say what they believe in? Or are you happy with a candidate who feels a little pressure, then abandons a position and goes another direction, just for a vote? No principle, just a mushy nothing.

We have candidates that court Latinos and say one thing, court homosexuals and say another, court illegals and offer hope, court women with two opposite messages, court liberals, religious groups, conservatives and more…telling them all a little bit of what they want to hear, not what’s good for America. We are treated as small groups of sheep guarded by political wolves. There is no such thing as integrity in politics by any measure, our founding principles are a nuisance…it is destroying America.

Well for me, I’m sick, disgusted by the betraying politicians that will say anything to anybody to get a vote and mean none of what they say. Can we ignore over 200 years of sacrifice, blood, and treasure being trashed by selfish, greedy, power-hungry politicians? Even now our warriors on the battlefield are treated as cannon fodder while the politicians spar over their agenda for power. It just doesn’t get more despicable.

If Americans want Obama as their candidate that’s their choice.

As for many of us, John McCain is not a conservative, is a pretender, a wind from all directions, reflects the energy of a mushroom, much like Bob Dole, is the presumptive nominee because he has paid his dues to the republican apparatus. He will be defeated by a socialist, inexperienced novice at a time America needs solid leadership, courage, ideas and solutions.

The sooner conservatives and the republican party come to grips that McCain is a loser, not good for the republican party, not accepted by conservatives, and most of all, not good for America, the sooner corrective action can be taken.

Conservatives and republicans can wake up now, support a movement to reject McCain at the republican convention, or wake-up January 2009 with a virtual unknown with questionable credentials at best in the White House…be prepared to weep America.

Some are calling our movement “lunacy, wild-eyed fringe”, etc…but I’ll tell you folks we wouldn’t be America without some “wild-eyed radicals” thinking America was worth fighting for. We don’t compare to our fore-fathers but the threat is just as great in my humble opinion.

We oppose Barak Obama completely…PATRIOTS REVOLT will never accept this empty suit, anti-American candidate as president of the United States.

We oppose John McCain for his past and current condition of Leftist pandering with nearly the same fervor. His actions confirm our belief he is not qualified, prepared, or understands the threats and needs facing America. With this said, McCain does rank ahead of Obama…with 100 being worst, Obama ranks at 100, McCain is at 99…one point improvement over Obama…both are without merit.

If you research both of these men, you will find “what they say they will do to get elected” is far removed from official positions they have taken in the past. Their talk does not match their demonstrated past actions…don’t be duped by election year rhetoric…we need presidential timber that has a solid conservative record of performance that can be verified as consistent with future proposed direction.

WHAT CAN BE DONE?

Supported by millions of American patriots:

1. Present the Republican National Committee and John McCain with a list of demands they must accept or risk all American patriots voting for a candidate other than McCain.

2. Convince the Republican National Committee (RNC) to conclude John McCain cannot win the election in November 2008 and delegates select no winner on the first ballot at the national convention resulting in a “brokered convention”.

(A brokered convention, where no nominee is selected on the first ballot, will seek Godly guidance in discussing, analyzing, evaluating, and voting to accept additional presidential nominations from the floor. The goal should be to nominate and elect a presidential candidate with credentials consistent with a Reagan vision for America to become President of the United States.

DISCUSSION:

Below is a list of demands the Republican National Committee and Senator John McCain, presumptive Republican presidential nominee must agree to abide with in order to attract patriot voters, voters who place America before politics. Rejection of these demands will be considered a rejection against America and result in a voter rejection of John McCain, should he be the nominee.

If Senator McCain and the RNC agree to heed these demands, rest assured any future political amnesia of the commitment will result in severe repercussions beginning with 2010 Congressional elections. Consider President George HW Bush 1992 fate after he ignored his “read my lips, no new taxes” commitment.

If Senator McCain fails to heed these demands, millions of patriots will go to a “third party” candidate or a “write-in” candidate to be determined.

Should a brokered convention occur, RNC must give these demands substantial weight in considering and selecting the republican presidential nominee.

If you support PATRIOTS REVOLT demands and agree that America is in serious political jeopardy,with drastic action needed, we ask you to register your name, city, state, etc here, agreeing to reject John McCain if he ignores our demands, and support a “brokered convention if that occurs.

Please don’t sigh and say “we can’t do that”. We can and must do this. The political apparatus is not the decision makers…we are, the voters. What the delegates do at the convention is not their will, but the will of the American people. Only a small percentage of America, a few million, have said McCain is the choice…the other 250 million have not spoken. It will only take a few million of us to out number the primary votes McCain received and convince the republican apparatus a new candidate is demanded. If we want it to happen and speak loudly enough,McCain will go and a conservative will carry the republican banner in November 2008…and win the Presidency.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that we WILL DRILL AMERICA, DRILL NOW, AND PAY LESS! It is unconscionable sitting on trillions of cubic feet of our own natural gas and billions of barrels of our own oil while begging Arabs for more.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment to build more refineries, upgrade existing refineries, develop clean safe nuclear power, and disengage from initiatives that require more fuel than they produce.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that the borders WILL be closed and NO illegals will get ANY amnesty or special consideration. Legal immigration is the only way into America.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that employers of known illegals will be prosecuted. This will cause illegals to go home on their own…real wages for real Americans will rise.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that federal funding will be withdrawn from “sanctuary cities”…immediately! As Americans we must obey the federal laws… so should city officials… or de-fund and prosecute them.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that ONLY strict constructionist federal and Supreme Court judges will be nominated and supported in hearings! Abiding by our Constitution has worked to get us here… it will work for our future.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that NO new tax bills will be signed.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that there will be NO carbon tax schemes and NO so called “global warming” or “climate change” agreements catering to the fear mongers claiming “man-made” climate change.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that ALL congressional earmarks will be vetoed.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that Social Security will be reformed and made solvent to end any illegal scheme that will devastate the retirement of so many.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment to oppose all forms of abortion, oppose embryonic stem cell research but support adult stem cell research, oppose same sex marriage, oppose civil unions of same sex couples, and support marriage as a union between one man and one woman.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment to retain “under God” in our pledge of allegiance, our coins to retain “in God we trust”, and English declared the official single language of the United States.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment to support official renewed emphasis on POW and MIA recovery efforts and an apology from Senator McCain for his unacceptable personal conduct toward POW/MIA, Swiftboat, and Minute Men activists.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment to stop the treasonous North American Union and the NAFTA Super Highway, rejection of Law of the Sea Treaty, and support United Nations withdrawal.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that active military, veterans/retirees and family members receive priority consideration for health-care, compensation, all earned support, equivalent to the priority given to secure our nation.

We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that if United States security is threatened, before American military forces are committed, the President will request and Congress will issue a “declaration of war”.

(Please note these “demands” do not speak to all conservative issues but are examples that should point RNC and John McCain away from their current pandering direction.)

It is not likely we can ever match the sacrifice and courage of our “Founding Fathers” but we can at least develop an attitude willing to fight for the freedom sacrificed for us.
“We the people…”; “…all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,…”; “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom — and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”
The above quotes/principles taken from the US Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and Gettysburg Address are threatened,even stolen by a corrupt, dysfunctional political machine that only cares about it’s incestuous lust for power. We cannot allow America to sink because we failed to stand up.

CONCLUSION

If John McCain, and the RNC, acknowledge these demands and make strong commitments to support the demands, Patriots will be more likely to support the McCain candidacy if he is the nominee.

The preferred action is for the Republican National Convention to conclude John McCain is the wrong candidate, refrain from a first ballot nomination, adopt “brokered convention” procedures, and select a new candidate.
