The days surrounding September 15 appear to be developing into a critical period for America…many officials testifying to Congress for and against various issues related to national security, the Commander-in-Chief is reported as preparing some policy announcement, anti-America elements preparing to spread false, misleading, and distorted messages…and further, American troops will be watching, listening, praying about all this, and yes, probably dying during this week, in hopes America will not let them down…not abandon moms, dads, sons, and daughters in harms way……….

I have a message for our gallant warriors and their families…Eagles will have your back and the back of your Commander, General Petraeus, in Washington, DC on September 15…..we will not abandon or betray over 200 years of warrior sacrifices to a minority willing to surrender it all.

But, before September 15 there is work to be done.  The moonbats are scurrying to shore up their last remaining remnant of support……..get the word out to your friends all over America of the critical need to be in Washington, DC.

One of our strong Eagle leaders is Move America Forward with their cross country caravan which begins September 3, 2007.  The moonbats are calling for a rally to protest MAF’s initial kick-off at Carson City, Nevada…

Latest word from the moonbats video indicates they are pleading for support to frustrate MAF’s efforts.  Now is the time for all folks within reach of Carson City, NV to be in attendance September 3rd at 0900 AM to support MAF……..turn the tables on the moonbats.  Notify your friends in Nevada, California and others of the grand opportunity to humiliate, demoralize the anti-America crowd with a large pro-America, pro troop support, encouraging MAF…    When MAF starts off strong, the effect will carry to DC and September 15th.

Check the web sites frequently of groups that are working to bring true patriots to DC on Sept. 15 including Eagles Landing; Move America Forward hosting the  nationwide caravan of families and supporters starting in California and arriving in DC on the 15th; Military Order of the Purple Heart; Gathering of Eagles; Free Republic; and Vets For Freedom — in addition to many other pro-troop organizations.

Detailed schedules, meeting locations, march routes will be finalized and provided.  As mentioned previously, National Park Service will not likely release permit information until the week preceding the event……….your primary information you already know…get to DC on Sep 15…we know the location we will occupy is likely from Lafayette Park (across from the White House) down Pennsylvania Avenue, likely down 15th St to Constitution Ave and then east to the US Capitol………locations of other events and further directions will be provided when available.

Take action on the September 3rd MAF kick-off, get you plans to DC finalized…look forward to locking arms with tens of thousands of you in DC……..

Eagles Up!

A NEW SONG: Where Has All The Backbone gone….gone to jelly everyone….When Will They Ever Learn, When Will They Eveeeerrrrr Learn?

According to press reports “…Senator Warner, an influential Republican on defense matters, urged President George W. Bush to announce by Sept. 15 a plan to begin withdrawing U.S. troops from Iraq…”  This gutless politically correct Senator may want to demoralize the troops and “surrender”, his choice. Reprehensible, but his choice.

But, I can tell you there will be thousands of screaming, committed, patriotic, flag waving, hard nosed Americans that utterly reject surrender, and we will be standing on the streets, “boots on the ground” in Washington, DC, on September 15, 2007.

Eagles locked arm in arm, shoulder to should, still committed to the oath we took to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.”  We will not shrink our duty…we will lift America, we will give hope to our troops, and honor our memorials to our fallen, missing and their families.

In Senator Warner’s words, “We simply cannot as a nation stand and continue to put our troops at continuous risk of loss of life and limb without beginning to take some decisive action,'’  “Warner, who returned from Iraq last week and met with top administration officials yesterday, said during a news conference at the Capitol.”

The only area I agree with Warner is “decisive action”….. but the “decisive action” is not  “surrender”, but to attack………we should have been attacking Iran and Syria years ago……..the gutless cowardly Congress has fought and rejected a winning strategy for years, openly defied the Commander in Chief, hypocritical in voting to go to war and then threatening to not fund it; contributed significantly to the disunity in America, encouraged and emboldened the enemy,  and the Commander in Chief has listened to spineless advisors with a “cannon fodder” mentality………attack, attack, attack should have been the cry from day one until unequivocal victory…….if we know where the threat is, why in God’s name would we give them sanctuary; let them continue to attack and kill our warriors without consequence, without accountability?

Now the JCS wants to withdraw troops, General Petraeus and our leaders on the ground don’t, the Administration seems against it, Congress is leaning toward withdrawal…………who in hell is in charge?  Is the Commander in Chief in charge or not?  If he is then, there is only one way…attack, attack, attack………….

Leadership in Washington, DC may be guilty of criminal activity…I can think of nothing more despicable that having the wherewithal to win but choose to surrender..giving the enemy the advantage, giving the Islamic butchers hope to hold on,  just like the gutless leaders in Congress and anti-war movement of the 60s and 70s led us down the surrender path, sacrificing the lives of our men and women warriors to satisfy personal political agendas.  Where are the patriots with a backbone?…. gone to jelly everyone………..

Let us sing an old song in Washington, DC on September 15….that old song is “Victory, Victory, Victory…America, The Land of the Free Because of The Brave.

Would it Surprise You to Learn Anti-War Elements Protest at Warrior Funerals?

On the face, is this enough to make you want to spit nails, even grab someone by the throat? 

Common decency is shadowed from the Act Now To Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER) anti-war movement by their disgraceful, hell-bent, motivation to destroy America…to “surrender” the freedom that  warriors and patriots have secured  over two hundred years of sacrifice.  Their September 15, 2007 rally/march in Washington, D.C. will be met by hundreds of thousands of patriotic Eagles “boots on the ground” that reflect a “we win, they lose” attitude.       

Our warriors, past and present, contribute sacrificially for all of us to enjoy freedom,  free speech,  and in doing so must endure the hate, hostility, malicious attacks while being laid to rest and recovering from wounds sustained in defending the very ones that continue to call for their death….RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA. 

Having spent several months in the fox-hole, I can attest combat is not fun, it is nasty, dirty, scary, and hazardous to one’s health.  There are few in the military that are anxiously waiting for the next opportunity to face death or bodily harm. Who wants to go to war anyway?  Nobody wants to go to war…we go when our country calls….if our country calls we will  lock and load and “shoot the !#$^&*%” low-life enemy before he gets us.  Who deserves denigration for protecting American freedom? 

War is not one sided……both sides are trying to kill and as we know many of our American soldiers have died and others seriously wounded fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan for what the majority of Americans believe is the right thing.  Right or wrong aside, our troops do what they are ordered to do, probably believe they’re doing the right thing, and are placing their life and limb in jeopardy for all of us.

Nearly every week, protesters demonstrate near the Walter Reed entrance, “chanting amid mock flag-draped caskets with signs reading “Maimed for Lies” and “Enlist here and die for Halliburton.” They taunt veterans and staff entering and leaving the facility with angry slogans like “George Bush kills American soldiers.” and other despicable language.   Walter Reed has been a primary treatment facility for American Patriots of all ranks for nearly a century.  It certainly should not be defiled by such contemptible rabble, nor should our wounded troops and families be subjected to their despicable behavior. 

The anti-war group gather at Walter Reed Hospital, within ear-shot of our wounded warriors and their families, engage in the most, egregious, ungrateful, disgusting, immoral activity, in the character of Satan himself. It’s one thing to voice one’s opposition to our policy in the Middle East, but yet another to directly rub salt in the wounds of our heroes recovering from wounds in Walter Reed Hospital or anywhere.  Thank God FREE REPUBLIC patriots gather and challenge these moonbats each Friday evening.

Nearly every week Patriot Guard Riders assemble at military funerals somewhere, doing their best to shield grieving families of fallen warriors from the hate filled, malicious language of the anti-war, anti-America elements…
Can you picture yourself recovering from a near fatal wound and hear American citizens and others outside the hospital calling for your death, wishing you ill, or calling your service to America, stupid?  What about families grieving as their warrior loved one is laid to rest while anti-war elements chant nasty slogans near the cemetery?  America must standup for our warriors and their families…we cannot allow this disgraceful, hateful, activity to continue without challenge.

Individuals dishonoring our troops and fallen haven’t a clue that the foundation of their freedom of speech rests on the sacrifices of troops in Walter Reed and all those who have fought and died in past wars.  You can rest assured that some of these same ungrateful, hateful, anti-America protesters who dishonor our wounded warriors on Friday night will be the ones that will face Eagles on September 15, 2007 on the streets of Washington, D.C.  
 
Has the majority of America become so complacent, so unconcerned with the security of America, so removed from the pain and suffering of the battlefield and later, Walter Reed Army Hospital, that we will allow the America hating misfits to mock, not only our current warriors, but our nation and our fallen and missing warriors and families?  Will you stand-up, grab the Stars and Stripes, and move-out in support of our nation September 15, 2007?
 
The current situation in America will not allow an attitude of “let someone else do it”, the attitude must be, “where’s my boots, I’m going to DC September 15th…my nation needs me”.
 
At nearly 70, I’m not the stud I was in Viet Nam in 1969 but I still have enough fire in my gut to go to Washington, D.C. and confront the elements that are mocking our wounded at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and attempting to convince our politicians that “surrender” will work…SURRENDER HELL, EAGLES ARE LANDING.  
 
I hope you and hundreds of thousands of America loving patriots will join me with “boots on the ground”  on  E-Day  September 15, 2007.

I am happy to report the Eagles message is taking hold throughout America…more and more are committing to travel to Washington, DC for the September, 15, 2007 E-Day.  Of course as our numbers climb, the opposition is deviously looking and employing counter-measure to thwart our efforts…you know when this is happening, our progress is worrisome to the “moonbats”.
 
We’re beginning to see glimpses of distortion, fabrication, deception, from elements that reflect intentions to sow disharmony, confusion and cause division among those of us 1. Supporting America 2. Reflecting to our troops and their commander, General Petraeus, that we have their backs, and 3. honoring our fallen and missing warriors and their families on September 15, 2007 on the streets of Washington, DC. .  Elements engaged in this behavior can only be part of the ANSWER crowd.   Recognize it for what it is and ignore those attempting divisive and false rumor.
 
Some are spreading the notion that we are pro-war.  Simply because one element of our mission supports the troops, some are referring to our September 15, 2007 intention to field massive numbers on the streets of Washington, DC as “pro-war”. 

In a discussion with a family member who subscribed to the anti-war movement,  Jim, a military man used the following logic:
 
“I asked if we could have a gentlemen’s agreement - namely that I’d say something that would only take a minute or two and he would sit still and listen, and when I was done, I’d sit still and listen to whatever he wanted to say.  He agreed.

I asked him who he thought was most against war.  After a minute, he said he didn’t know.  I then said that I thought the people most against war were those, like me, that had to fight them.  I have been under rocket attack three times and personally heard shells (23mm) go past my head (while I was in a FAC O-2) and that was very scary and personal.  I also lost friends in the war.  I said that the military, who has to fight the wars, is the group most against war, because they have the most to lose, but that the military understands that sometimes war is necessary.

I said I was done and he could say anything he wanted and I’d be quiet.  After several minutes of silence, he said he had never thought about it that way before.”

The difference between the anti-war elements and American’s for freedom is simple…if we must go to war, then “we win, they lose”…period.
 
It’s freedom we’re about, ensuring the security of America, not debating the right or wrong of Iraq but looking at the longer term threat America faces of which Iraq is a part.  It’s about messages being sent to a barbaric, ruthless, bunch of butchers that are encouraged when they see elements in America that suggest “surrender”, demeaning our troops, and allowing the Islamic killers to use foolishness of a few private citizens and politicians, as ammunition for propaganda purposes.
 
We cannot allow a repeat of the 60s when America abandoned our troops in Southeast Asia….folks it is not easy to make a trip to Washington, DC that is recognized…be sure that this is not about some individual getting his/her ego stroked or some organization bolstering it’s agenda…what it’s about is the survival of our nation, our way of life is being moved perilously close to  a repeat of the 60s…this time, as we have already experienced, the enemy is attacking us on continental United States soil.  If we do not hold the line and move with offensive action to rally in support of America, our troops, and recognize the sacrifice of our fallen and missing, the blood bath will continue in America with a force that will dwarf 9-11-2001.  We can make a move now without bloodshed at home if we act…think about it? 
 
Many organizations such as Eagles Landing, Move America Forward, Military Order of the Purple Heart, Gathering of Eagles, Rolling Thunder, and others are engaged in preparation and urging American patriots to sacrifice, if necessary, to be present for duty, ‘boots on the ground” in Washington, DC on September 15, 2007.  The goal is to fill the streets and totally overwhelm those that would tear America down, abandon our troops again, and dishonor our fallen and missing and their families..
 
America needs each one of us desperately to stand-up for her…our troops, the very sons and daughters, sacrificing blood, body parts, and lives deserve nothing less…use our web site www.eaglesup.us and tell us you’ll be in DC…click on the forum and sign up or hit the “contact button” at the top of the page and tell America you’re on the way……
 
God willing our presence in DC will shake the political establishment and our national media into some sense of reality where America stands.
