President Bush, Senators,
Please let this fax register my opposition to the Senate’s new effort to pass an immigration reform bill that is really an amnesty bill.
I am also disgusted with the Senate leadership for using procedural moves to rush this bill to the Senate floor without committee deliberations or the normal time of debate.
Given the importance of this issue, the Senate leadership as well as the minority party has betrayed the American people by trying to sneak this bill through.
I urge you to vote “No” on cloture on any amnesty bill and to vote “No” on any final bill.
The American people do not want amnesty. We have made that clear. Will you listen now?
If you won’t listen now, be prepared for a strong message in November 2008.
