America - A melting pot or a tower of babble?

Thursday, June 21st, 2007

Congress has scored a record low poll approval rating of just 14% - the lowest ever recorded in the Gallup Poll’s history.   Congratulations Senators and Representatives…based on your performance, particularly on the Illegal Alien issue, you are nearing the true low standard America really views Congress…in a word, shameful.

I would be remiss by failing to note that President Bush’s approval with America is not much better…lower than ever with a rousing 24% I believe.

This low satisfaction level America has of Congress is not difficult to understand after watching the US Senate in action today working on the Energy Bill legislation.

I will cite two examples:  At the conclusion of a vote on an amendment to the Energy bill today, the majority leader, Senator Reid took the floor and announced he had important information…I assumed he was ready to remark on the Energy legislation….no,  Senator Reid announced that Senator Lautenberg, D-NJ vote on the last amendment made Senator Lautenberg the holder of a title:  Most votes in the US Senate of any US Senator from New Jersey, ever…Reid went on and on for ten minutes praising the wonderful, incomparable Senator Lautenberg as if the Energy legislation was completed.  If this wasn’t disgusting enough, after another amendment vote, Senator Reid again took the floor and indicated he had a major announcement?  Energy legislation?  Nope, this time he announced that Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia had just recorded his 18,000th vote in the US Senate…….another ten minute rambling, gushing, mumbling account of how wonderful Senator Byrd represented his home State of West Virginia…Reid didn’t mention Senator Byrd’s past membership as a Ku Klux Klan leader…

My observation is that America is being totally misrepresented, abandoned, and betrayed by the US Senate.  The Senate leadership of both Republican and Democratic parties has convinced America, 86% of us, that they are a bumbling lot, just about able to walk and chew gum at the same time…it is absolutely discouraging, painful, and approaching hopelessness that anything but devastating pain for America will come out of the US Congress.

The Immigration Bill will be up again soon, same song, same tune…Are there levels of common sense?  If so, I believe “closing the border, turning off the faucet as the first step” is just about simple enough for anyone to understand…except maybe Congress.  Unfortunately, we can expect the Reid, McConnell, Kennedy, Kyl, McCain, Lott, Graham gaggle to be pushing as hard as possible to provide illegal aliens a gift of amnesty.  We have some strong support opposing the bill in Senators Sessions, Vitter, Dorgan, McCaskill, DeMint…at least they were influential in the last showdown.

With 86% of America telling Congress they are off course, way off course, they just don’t get it…at least they won’t admit nor reflect in their actions they get it…does they sound like a “of the people, by the people, for the people” body?  The US Senate is reflecting an attitude more akin to regimes and enemies around the world we have been fighting for decades because of adversary unwillingness to allow constituents a vote, assuming absolute power.

The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) was launched in March of 2005;  North American Union…Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin, Mexico’s President Vincente Fox, U.S. President George W. Bush, held a joint news conference at Baylor University in Waco, Texas,  March 23, 2005 discussing the North American Union, NAFTA Super Highway, from Mexico straight through the middle of America all the way to Canada…open borders.  All this stuff being carried out in quasi secret, international agreements being made without consent of the governed…the US Senate Immigration effort to open, not close American borders is in support of these agreements that have never had a Congressional Committee hold the first hearing…America as we know it…a sovereign and free nation will be lost forever if the Bush Administration and Congress have their way.

President Bush and the US Congress is selling out America, ignoring tried and true principles of governing that has made America the envy of the civilized world, and both the Administrative and Legislative Branches of government has taken on the attitude and reflection of power unto themselves, not of the people.

“So through the night rode Paul Revere;
And so through the night went his cry of alarm
To every Middlesex village and farm,—
A cry of defiance, and not of fear,
A voice in the darkness, a knock at the door,
And a word that shall echo for evermore!
For, borne on the night-wind of the Past,
Through all our history, to the last,
In the hour of darkness and peril and need,
The people will waken and listen to hear
The hurrying hoof-beats of that steed,
And the midnight message of Paul Revere”

Where do we stand my friends?  We need to do some serious soul searching as America approaches a darkening future.  As for me  NO MORE AMNESTY, NO DISGUISED SNEAKY SMALL PRINT, NOT NOW, NOT EVER.

God bless America, our warriors who battle for our freedom while Washington D.C. leadership do their best to surrender.

I forget who in our circle may have suggested recently that we citizens should rise up as our forefathers did, overthrow our current corrupt masters(congress) as we did England, write a new declaration of independence and a new constitution and start over.

Oversimplified for sure but otherwise a course of action. The obstacle here is that our corrupt masters were all elected by the citizens from the various states. There is no short term solution but it seems to me that the long term strategy should be to eliminate corrupt congress members by turning them over often with short tenure. The only way to change their tenure is to change the constitution.

There are two ways to amend the Constitution: 1.  Congress can initiate an amendment (not likely) or 2. the Governors of the various states can initiate an amendment (possible but tough)

So why don’t you put your energy into the goal of amending the constitution to limit tenure of members of congress?

Childers, MG, USA, Ret

What ever we do to save this great Republic, must be done without undue delay.  The Globalist movement, that started before any of us were born, has now reached a point that our Republic is nearly lost.

The re-taking of our government must start at State Level and since we now answer to Corporate America, that got it’s beginning with the Ratification of the 14th amendment, that many say was illegally ratified (Southern States Occupied by the Union), could be one avenue to examine.

In any case, as the General mentioned, we can not expect the present make up of Congress to cooperate, they have proven themselves to be our enemy.  The People must become true patriots, willing to make any sacrifice as our Forefathers did, if we expect to remain free and in control of our own Government and our destiny.

A start is to agree that the problem exists and that failure to correct it will be the demise of our Republic and freedom.  Next we must become an over whelming majority of Independent American Patriots and Demand that our State act on our behalf, and we must act individually, by placing our own Independent Patriot’s in every possible elected Office.

We read every day about proven leaders trying to become a member of Congress, a State Representative, a Governor, a Commissioner, a Mayor and even the President.  The problem is, they must comply with election laws, that makes it nearly impossible for an Independent to be elected.  If we refuse to be a Registered member of a Political Party and become that overwhelming Majority of Independent’s, we can force changes that will once again, give true Independent Patriot’s a chance to Govern for the People.

General Childress alluded to “Our Circle”, in his remarks.  If you wish to be included in that Bcc e-mail list of Patriots for America, let me know robert0931@comcast.net and your name will be added to the list.  In the mean time, look at every Link in www.independent-patriots-for-america.com then decide if your Freedom is worth your action.  Become part of the Independent-Patriots-For America, to take back our Government and keep America the Home of the Brave and the Land of the Free.

Amnesty Overload - -America- - A Melting Pot Ready To Boil Over?

Friday, June 15th, 2007

So amnesty opposition is getting to the good Senator from Mississippi….according to Senator Lott  “TALK RADIO IS RUNNING AMERICA. WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THAT PROBLEM”…..Lott thinks American’s are the problem because we make our voices heard on talk radio…..?

Well I have news for Senator Lott, he’s a big part of the problem……..how in hell are American’s supposed to get their message communicated when Congress and the entire political apparatus ignores their constituents and the major media are bought and paid for by corporations, liberal left-wingers, and socialist???

Trent Lott is not the only elitist scum-bag in the US Senate that degrades, insults, and looks down on Americans…In reality, America views the “lords” of the senate that prance around the senate floor, slapping each other on the back, making grand pronouncements, passing gas in their ivory tower, accomplishing literally nothing but pain and confusion for America, as nothing more than a political body not worth warm spit.

In the final analysis, this Amnesty Bill that President Bush, Reid, Lott, Kennedy, Kyl, McCain and others are pushing is nothing short of a traitorous, treasonous guise to award law-breakers for political advantage which fosters a despicable action to penalize, demoralize, American citizens into submission of our rights to fight for what we believe is right, and give politicians the quasi-dictatorial powers they want to establish near total authority.

As for me, the political elite and their attitude can go to hell, as I will die for my right to call a radio station, write a letter criticizing American leadership, oppose those that illegally enter our nation, and tell them to get the hell out of America and come in the front door…if I had my way, the politicians would go with them…both political parties are “bottom feeders”.

I didn’t spend my time in the fox-hole for some ignorant politician to imply my voice is “a problem that has to be dealt with”.  I’m more than disgusted, mad, raging mad, at the arrogance of the President referring to many of us a “bigots”, “frightening America”, simply because we believe his Amnesty legislation is wrong, dead wrong. Trent Lott and others comment “damn tired of hearing from them” implying the blood, sacrifice, lives, and widows of America are not worthy to have a voice in what the blow-hards in Washington, D.C. are doing.

Apparently the elite in Washington, D.C. can’t, won’t  or don’t care about the pulse of America….well, this melting pot, called America is just about ready to “boil over” and when it does it will take more than political assurance to turn off the heat…

The leaders in Washington, D.C. better damn sure take note before it is too late.

NO Amnesty Legislation on Flag Day or any other day

Thursday, June 14th, 2007

I understand that Senate leaders are working on a back-room deal that will bring the Amnesty bill back for a vote in exchange for consideration on certain amendments.

I oppose this “Amendments for Amnesty” deal.

Those that support this deal will forever be listed as a supporter of amnesty.

The American people have spoken in opposition to this amnesty bill. I urge Senators and Represenatives to oppose this deal and the bill.

There are adequate laws on illegal immigration already passed and only need execution…government has failed the citizens of America in the past and we don’t trust you now.

American citizens will incur the penalty in terms of tax expenditures, overcrowing in our schools, terror on the US highways, gridlock in our hospitals, a rising criminal population, and a threat to national security from the terrorist element breeding in America.

Take action on laws already on the books and then we’ll reevaluate our support for follow-on legislation when the border is closed.

Dictators in Washington, DC are telling Americans to “shove it”

Monday, June 11th, 2007

Mr. President, Senators,

“President Bush is not giving up on his plan to legalize millions of illegal immigrants…”, headline after headline…what is not clear about NO?

Laws upon laws that deal with immigration. Specific immigration laws that deal with persons that sneak across United States borders, employer limitations, criminal penalties, et al. decade after decade.
You have not executed laws on the book…….you have not done what you said you would do…we don’t trust you!

Yet, in 2007, you Mr. President and many Senators want to add more immigration laws to the books while enforcing none…just last year, 2006, an enormous legislative bill was passed that specifically deals with illegal aliens, security, border control, border fence, employer sanctions, all without serious action. And now, more laws on top of all the rest and you expect America to believe you have our best interest in mind??

The majority of Americans do not want more “politically correct” legislation. We see these actions purely aimed at securing advantages to politicians while heaping a gigantic tax burden, over-crowding of American schools, disaster on the highways, billions to pay for illegal alien medical treatment…the disaster is here, we will deal with it… turn off the faucet……stop the flow…”comprehensive immigration” is another camouflaged bureaucratic exercise with little to no chance of success…the only thing for sure is American’s will be the ones penalized and suffer for political incompetence.

Most of America now view politicians as an elite group with vision of total control, viewing citizen voices as simply an irritant that you are willing to put up with until we get tired and give up. This view is not idle thought among Americans…the thought of losing freedom as our founding fathers envisioned in very much on the minds of millions of patriotic citizens.

Just yesterday, as an example of the attitude in Washington, D.C., President Bush made this statement with regard to Attorney General Gonzales. “They can have their votes of no-confidence but it’s not going to make the determination about who serves in my government,” Bush said.” This attitude is prevalent in Washington, D.C…”my government”. Apparently President Bush is no longer just the administrative arm of American government, he’s the “government”. Arrogance within Washington, D.C. is near dictatorial stage…..

If we get to election in 2008, look out….I predict all hell will break loose…a nation of laws…what a crock of crap!

I for one am sick to death of lying, greedy, self-serving, ego-maniac talking heads in American government…I want no more illegal alien legislation, period. Get some backbone and take out the terrorists……..that’s priority number one…the troops are forgotten.

US Senate - - An Illegal Alien Lobby

Saturday, June 9th, 2007

Our Warriors and military retirees must beg Congress for funds while the US Senate seems perfectly willing to expend over 2 Trillion Dollars in support of illegal aliens.

Can anyone deny the reflection of conspiracy in the US Senate?

The media report on June 9, 2007, “President Bush, trying to recover from a stinging setback on immigration will personally try in a visit to the Capitol next week to revive the embattled plan for legalizing millions of unlawful immigrants…to placate or outmaneuver conservative Republicans…”  is disturbing.  American’s have said “no” in very emphatic terms to “politically correct” legislation dealing with “illegal aliens” in America…why is this so hard to understand?

In 1986 during the Reagen Administration, one-time amnesty was given to illegal aliens in America with a goal of controlling our borders, account for people in America, and immigration in general. A specific aspect of the 1986 legislation was to prosecute employers who hired illegal aliens to perform work in America.

The prohibition against employers hiring illegal aliens is still the law of the land but not enforced by the federal government…employers are still hiring illegals with impunity, federal and state government look the other way. The 1986 Amnesty legislation failed, only encouraging more illegal aliens.

Just last year, legislation was passed that provides 2 billion dollars to build a fence on the southern border of the United States. Is it being done?…not really. Of some 700 miles of fence and other security measures authorized, eleven (11) miles has been completed. This legislation also authorized a large number of border patrol agents to be hired and trained as well as a host of other security measures. None is being carried out with a sense of urgency.

Now the President and others in the US Senate continue to seek more legislation duplicative of what already exists, rewarding law-breakers, adding enormous tax burdens on American citizens, jeopardizing national security, ignoring enforcement and execution of immigration legislation already on the books.

As I see it here’s the analogy: a water pipe breaks in the kitchen, pouring water all over the house…the first action is to start mopping the floor. Mopping up the kitchen floor while water is pouring out is not the first priority…turning off the water at the main valve is first priority. Common sense directs priority toward stopping the problem and then trying to clean up the mess…

Legislation is already on the books :

Employers hiring illegal aliens violate the law. Arrest employers – Enforce the law now

Build the authorized/legislated fence and other security measures that protect  America’s southern border. Enforce the law now

Hire and train authorized border patrol agents. Enforce the law now

This is not about being anti-immigrant, it’s about American sovereignty and national security…most of us are immigrants if we look back far enough. The fact is we just don’t trust Congress and politicians in general.

No more illegal alien band-aids until immigrant legislation on the books is executed.

United States Senate - - Politics before America’s Security

Wednesday, June 6th, 2007

June 06, 2007

President Bush, Senators, and Representatives,

Awarding illegal immigration is wrong, a betrayal of American blood, a sell-out of America.

Retired BG Shaefer has made your job much easier, will bolster the integrity of immigration, and strengthen America’s national security.  All you have to do is put his plan into legislative form and vote “yea”.

“We don’t have to round them up.  Here’s Shaefer’s 6-point plan for stopping illegal immigration – while tearing down any and all walls so people don’t hurt themselves getting back out:

1. Stop providing free medical care and any other social service to those who enter or stay in this country illegally. Only exception – if they are the victim of a violent crime reported to the police.

2. Educate no child who is, or whose parents are, in the country illegally.

3. Change the law that makes an automatic citizen of anyone born in the US, even if born to Hamas parents here illegally.  At least one of the parents should be a US Citizen.  The dichotomy of this law is that while we deport the illegal parents we can not deport their minor children who were born here … thus those children become orphan wards of the state … disgusting.

4. Make it a criminal offense to rent lodging, whether for a night or a month, to anyone in this country illegally.  The same with selling a home.

5. Put employers who knowingly hire illegals in jail. First offense 48 hours and $500: second offense 30 days and $1000, 3rd offense 1 year and $10000.

6. Because all of the above makes it more desirable to obtain false US citizen ID: Get an illegal ID, you go to jail — there you can work (for free) at hard labor for three years.  Provide an illegal ID to someone, you go to jail where you can work (for free) at hard labor for three years and $15000 – for each ID.

The elegance of this plan is that it requires no fence or wall being built – our Border Patrol can now assume, however, since there is no economic incentive to come to America, that those crossing our border illegally are up to no good.  Deadly force would be authorized.

This plan also avoids the problem of over-taxing law enforcement agencies from wasting time trying to round up illegals – just get out of their way as they stampede out of the country.”

The path Congress is on with S-1348 is a threat to law, legal citizens well being, and puts American national security in jeopardy…you will pay in 2008 for this fool-hardy scheme but the damage to America will already be done if you persist…….recovery to America may not be possible.

Senate Immigration Bill - - Is this a Conspiracy to usurp the US Constitution?

Monday, June 4th, 2007

President Bush, Senators,

S-1348, an amnesty bill, must be killed or it becomes the first fatal blow to the American Republic.

Where has the moral judgment we expect from Congress and the Presidency in support of America gone?

Given the importance of this issue, the Senate leadership as well as the minority party has betrayed the American people by pursuing such a travesty.

Do we see conspiracy in an attempt to usurp the United States Constitution? Are you all failing your oath to “protect and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic”?

As an American, I want to see a reflection from President Bush and the US Congress that puts the security of the United States first…the immigration bill rewards illegal aliens, penalizes Americans to pay the aliens way, and threatens National Security.

The temperature is indeed rising in America but it’s not from “global warming”…an anger, even hatred of political surrender of America is bubbling closer to the surface.

Sincerely,

Harry Riley
