I am happy to report the Eagles message is taking hold throughout America…more and more are committing to travel to Washington, DC for the September, 15, 2007 E-Day.  Of course as our numbers climb, the opposition is deviously looking and employing counter-measure to thwart our efforts…you know when this is happening, our progress is worrisome to the “moonbats”.
 
We’re beginning to see glimpses of distortion, fabrication, deception, from elements that reflect intentions to sow disharmony, confusion and cause division among those of us 1. Supporting America 2. Reflecting to our troops and their commander, General Petraeus, that we have their backs, and 3. honoring our fallen and missing warriors and their families on September 15, 2007 on the streets of Washington, DC. .  Elements engaged in this behavior can only be part of the ANSWER crowd.   Recognize it for what it is and ignore those attempting divisive and false rumor.
 
Some are spreading the notion that we are pro-war.  Simply because one element of our mission supports the troops, some are referring to our September 15, 2007 intention to field massive numbers on the streets of Washington, DC as “pro-war”. 

In a discussion with a family member who subscribed to the anti-war movement,  Jim, a military man used the following logic:
 
“I asked if we could have a gentlemen’s agreement - namely that I’d say something that would only take a minute or two and he would sit still and listen, and when I was done, I’d sit still and listen to whatever he wanted to say.  He agreed.

I asked him who he thought was most against war.  After a minute, he said he didn’t know.  I then said that I thought the people most against war were those, like me, that had to fight them.  I have been under rocket attack three times and personally heard shells (23mm) go past my head (while I was in a FAC O-2) and that was very scary and personal.  I also lost friends in the war.  I said that the military, who has to fight the wars, is the group most against war, because they have the most to lose, but that the military understands that sometimes war is necessary.

I said I was done and he could say anything he wanted and I’d be quiet.  After several minutes of silence, he said he had never thought about it that way before.”

The difference between the anti-war elements and American’s for freedom is simple…if we must go to war, then “we win, they lose”…period.
 
It’s freedom we’re about, ensuring the security of America, not debating the right or wrong of Iraq but looking at the longer term threat America faces of which Iraq is a part.  It’s about messages being sent to a barbaric, ruthless, bunch of butchers that are encouraged when they see elements in America that suggest “surrender”, demeaning our troops, and allowing the Islamic killers to use foolishness of a few private citizens and politicians, as ammunition for propaganda purposes.
 
We cannot allow a repeat of the 60s when America abandoned our troops in Southeast Asia….folks it is not easy to make a trip to Washington, DC that is recognized…be sure that this is not about some individual getting his/her ego stroked or some organization bolstering it’s agenda…what it’s about is the survival of our nation, our way of life is being moved perilously close to  a repeat of the 60s…this time, as we have already experienced, the enemy is attacking us on continental United States soil.  If we do not hold the line and move with offensive action to rally in support of America, our troops, and recognize the sacrifice of our fallen and missing, the blood bath will continue in America with a force that will dwarf 9-11-2001.  We can make a move now without bloodshed at home if we act…think about it? 
 
Many organizations such as Eagles Landing, Move America Forward, Military Order of the Purple Heart, Gathering of Eagles, Rolling Thunder, and others are engaged in preparation and urging American patriots to sacrifice, if necessary, to be present for duty, ‘boots on the ground” in Washington, DC on September 15, 2007.  The goal is to fill the streets and totally overwhelm those that would tear America down, abandon our troops again, and dishonor our fallen and missing and their families..

God willing our presence in DC will shake the political establishment and our national media into some sense of reality where America stands.

 Are there enough Patriots in America to keep the Red, White, and Blue from Dishonor, from turning into a Crescent?

I have a few questions for my American brothers and sisters…questions I view as serious,  ones I never thought it would be necessary to ask or even seriously consider.
 
“Are you sure America is safe, that freedom is secure, that our national system of protection is doing everything it can to protect America, that enemies of America are being challenged adequately, that leadership in Washington, D.C. understand the peril America faces, are you willing to allow the direction America seems to be going as the America for your children and grandchildren, do you feel like something is drastically wrong in America today?” 
 
My answer is a firm “no”, except for the last one which is an unqualified “yes”.  Please consider your answer but read on………..
 
These questions beg for an answer now, “What are you and I doing or going to do to reverse the answers to the above questions”?  Something, nothing, what would it take to move you?  Those that would see America humiliated, destroyed will gather on September 15, 2007 in Washinton, D.C…we must be there to protect our nation.
 
Here’s what happened on March 17, 2007 during Gathering of Eagles in Washington, D.C. that proved America still has the courage, determination, and patriotic fervor to stand up for the Red, White, and Blue in opposition to those that would see America destroyed.
 
“At GOE 1 in March I was never so proud & worried in my life….the proud is self explanatory because of the Veterans & spirit that I was honored to be in the midst of, including my own husbands…the worry was because I knew how many very ill Veterans that were there. Many Vets were in the middle of chemo & radiation treatments & still were there. One old Nam medic that was determined to be there amongst his treatments died shortly after GOE 1….instead of his death bringing me total sadness the comfort of knowing how damn determined & proud he was to have been there is a memory that I’ll always cherish & remember……” shared by Shelia.
 
How many that read this have loved ones that died in war, in law enforcement, fire protection, have friends who suffered in POW camps, are longing for the touch of fathers still missing in action,  are recipients of valor awards on the field of battle, recipients of the Purple Heart Award for wounds suffered in battle, have bodies that are maimed, broken, destroyed in defense of America,  recipients of recognition for selfless service in the protection of America, a spouse-family member who sacrificed often equal or greater than a loved one in the line of duty, were spit on when you returned to your beloved America for doing your duty, and many that read this have received no recognition for saving America, but deserve enormous gratitude?  Is the cost of all this and much, much more for naught?  Will we allow the shrill nay sayers, the minority once again prevail in ignorance as in the 60s?   Our numbers on the streets of Washington, D.C. on September 15 will settle this score.

How can we remain silent, remain dormant, reflect a state of denial, while the enemy cancer slowly but methodically eats away the freedom patriots fought for from the beginning of America to our warriors now fighting for our freedom in Iraq?  Will we allow our destruction by a ruthless Islamic butcher,  or rally to the WWII cry of  “never again”?
 
I can hear the voices of the 58,000 men and women listed on the Viet Nam Memorial whose graves are spread through America crying,  “don’t let me be dishonored again, let me rest in peace”…the Korea, WWII warriors, who experienced unimaginable and incalculable horrors sacrificing for Americas freedom are pleading for America to standup , recent Americans killed in Beirut, Somalia, Khobar Towers, Embassies, ships, New York City, and others…all by an enemy with barbaric intentions, are wondering, will I be forgotten,  treated as my Viet Nam warrior brothers and sisters?
 
This enemy of the freedom, greatness and compassion of America, that so many have sacrificed for, has it’s tentacles in elements right here in America.  They will be taking to the streets in Washington, D.C. on September 15, 2007 attempting to convince America to give up, give up our freedom, surrender, make a mockery of lawful expression, all in the name of a communist based, Islamic terrorist supported, radical leftist hating organization called A.N.S.W.E.R. The resounding message of American hope, confidence, love and support for our troops, and honor for those gone before must rule the day….we must do nothing less.

A CALL TO STAND FOR FREEDOM 

September 15, 2007   

Washington, D.C.      

The Threadgills in Alabama sent me the Eagle quote above to support  Gathering of Eagles event last March in Washington, D.C., as we opposed, confronted, and routed the anti-America crowd.

I suggest a search of hearts will  reflect we have been “sparrows drifting with the wind” for nearly four decades in America?  Can we admit we have been drifting with those winds who find nothing but fault with our nation, accusing America of the world’s problems, ignoring the attacks on American freedoms, drifting as America sinks lower and lower into the gutter of despair, drifting while the media lies, distorts, fabricates conditions in America, gives comfort to our enemies while ignoring and failing to provide America some semblance of objectivity and truth in our fight against the Islamic butchers at home and abroad, drifting as unscrupulous, greedy corporations act as leeches at the gas pumps…on and on?

Our government has lost nearly 80% of American confidence…the immoral, greedy, criminal activities in Congress and the Presidency over the years has been a result of America drifting to the polls…drifting with the winds of change because we don’t want to turn around and face the biting gusts and stand for America…friends, you and I, patriots that love America and what she stands for have abandoned her.  Even American leadership gives aid and comfort to the enemy while our warriors suffer, bleed, are maimed and die on the battlefield…they shout the war is lost, the war is lost but as hypocrites and “arm-chair warriors”, continue sending men and women to fight and die.  These leaders are despicable traitors, treasonous, and betrayers of our nation, it’s warriors and families….will we continue to “drift”… or will we ignite a new fire by joining together in Washington, D.C. September 15, 2007?

What has happened to America…where is the unity, courage, integrity, honor, love of neighbor and country, muscle to fight for right on the home-front, of just 50 years ago?  Why are we not sounding the alarm that America is in jeopardy…what more evidence do we need than Muslim butchers flying planes into New York buildings and the Pentagon?  We need to find a small measure of the guts Todd Beamer and others displayed on United Airlines Flight 93…America and the freedom of our children and grandchildren is more important than life itself…Are Americans so uninformed or are we just ignorant to the terrorists and their supporters goal of destroying America?  The threat is no longer over the horizon, it’s here, in America, we have been attacked and the left wingers of Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER) and their supporters that we will face on September 15, are part of the threat to America.

We have been drifting, drifting …”as long as it doesn’t affect me or mine”……….well, the radiation from a dirty bomb will affect you…the germs from a biological release will affect you…don’t think you’re safe because you live in rural America…the threat is to us all…will we act to stop it or have we chosen to live in a state of denial?

So much easier to swim downstream with the current, to run with the wind, to walk with the snowstorm, to have our backs to the rain…to drift…drift with little to no effort.  There is a penalty, consequence to drifting…deadly consequences…the course is uncertain, direction is unknown, destination a gamble,  and the return may be treacherous, difficult, painful, and costly.

If America is to survive, the drifting must stop, recognize America is on a collision course with a ruthless enemy, prepare to sacrifice as necessary, and follow the Eagle who is courageous and comfortable flying against the storm America faces today.

If not now, when?  After the blood starts flowing in the streets of downtown America??

The time is now, an immediate storm that must be faced will blow on September 15, 2007 in Washington, D.C….the haters of America, enemies within our borders, communist backed elements, those that wish America harm are planning a rally/march vicinity the White House, Congress, and our memorials. Their modus operandi is to lie, distort, deceive, intimidate, confuse, use scare tactics, vandalize, and any other form of vile propaganda and physical action to convince America and our gutless leaders that General Petraeus, our Commander in Iraq is failing…our troops are failing…America is failing, democracy and liberty is not worth the fight…, but not a word will be uttered in condemnation against the terrorist butchers that chop heads, desecrate human beings, and other gruesome acts that animals refuse to commit to their own kind…these butchers get a free ride.  America will determine if the snake finds new life or it’s head is crushed once and for all.

Many of us fought for the right for all Americans to express themselves, free speech, but no one I know of fought to allow enemies of America to walk our streets calling for it’s destruction without challenge…our fallen are crying out to not be forgotten.

The anti-America crowd assumption has been that America will continue to “drift”… that there will be no Todd Beamers, no Patrick Henrys, they assume they will be unchallenged   to spew their venom against our nation as they have, nearly unopposed, for 40 years…this is changing and they know it…they viewed the sharp claws, laser eyes, and powerful Gathering of Eagles on March 17, 2007 and other locations since March, and are about to discover Eagles Landing  on their parade September 15 once again..

I see one million, yes, one million patriotic citizens of the United States arriving in  Washington, D.C. on September 15, standing proud, non-violent, non-confrontational, shoulder to shoulder,  whose specialty is “flying against the wind”. They are trained, motivated, tired of drifting, tired of the surrender shrill…old, young, men, women, veterans, widows, civilians, families, will set a course in support of freedom, lifting up America, displaying to our troops their backs are covered, giving our fallen warriors a special day of rest and special protection, while sending an undeniable message of hope for America and defeat for our enemies. 

These Eagles are caravanning from California, convoying from Florida, flying in from Hawaii, riding busses from Pennsylvania, Maine, Texas and trains, car-pools from all points in between. All heading to Washington to exercise our freedom to challenge those that reflect a hatred of America, to encourage America to stop “drifting” and face the wind, to signal to our enemies that America, the giant of freedom is waking from it’s long slumber.

We have been “drifting” too long..tell your friends, write letters to the editors, get your veterans organizations involved, call your talk radio stations, web broadcasts…commit now in 60 days you and I will Gather with the Eagles  on the streets of Washington, D.C. facing the wind, standing strong and unmoved against the forces of surrender and defeat. 

Let’s make September 15, 2007 a day remembered because One Million  EAGLES LANDED in Washington, D.C., confirming “America is the land of the free, because of the brave”.

So amnesty opposition is getting to the good Senator from Mississippi….according to Senator Lott  “TALK RADIO IS RUNNING AMERICA. WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THAT PROBLEM”…..Lott thinks American’s are the problem because we make our voices heard on talk radio…..?
 
Well I have news for Senator Lott, he’s a big part of the problem……..how in hell are American’s supposed to get their message communicated when Congress and the entire political apparatus ignores their constituents and the major media are bought and paid for by corporations, liberal left-wingers, and socialist???
 
Trent Lott is not the only elitist scum-bag in the US Senate that degrades, insults, and looks down on Americans…In reality, America views the “lords” of the senate that prance around the senate floor, slapping each other on the back, making grand pronouncements, passing gas in their ivory tower, accomplishing literally nothing but pain and confusion for America, as nothing more than a political body not worth warm spit.
 
In the final analysis, this Amnesty Bill that President Bush, Reid, Lott, Kennedy, Kyl, McCain and others are pushing is nothing short of a traitorous, treasonous guise to award law-breakers for political advantage which fosters a despicable action to penalize, demoralize, American citizens into submission of our rights to fight for what we believe is right, and give politicians the quasi-dictatorial powers they want to establish near total authority.
 
As for me, the political elite and their attitude can go to hell, as I will die for my right to call a radio station, write a letter criticizing American leadership, oppose those that illegally enter our nation, and tell them to get the hell out of America and come in the front door…if I had my way, the politicians would go with them…both political parties are “bottom feeders”.
 
I didn’t spend my time in the fox-hole for some ignorant politician to imply my voice is “a problem that has to be dealt with”.  I’m more than disgusted, mad, raging mad, at the arrogance of the President referring to many of us a “bigots”, “frightening America”, simply because we believe his Amnesty legislation is wrong, dead wrong. Trent Lott and others comment “damn tired of hearing from them” implying the blood, sacrifice, lives, and widows of America are not worthy to have a voice in what the blow-hards in Washington, D.C. are doing.
 
Apparently the elite in Washington, D.C. can’t, won’t  or don’t care about the pulse of America….well, this melting pot, called America is just about ready to “boil over” and when it does it will take more than political assurance to turn off the heat…
 
The leaders in Washington, D.C. better damn sure take note before it is too late.

Can America survive two more years under the present Administration and Congress??  Every day it appears more hopeless as those in positions of responsibility in Washington, D.C. mangle any sense of responsibility common sense would expect.

President Bush is a nice man, I believe he tries and I like him, but he is not a leader.  Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Leader Pelosi reflect the attitude of mis-guided missiles…in fact it’s difficult to name any rational member of Congress these days……..or for that matter, see any on the horizon.

President Bush seems to have his head in the posterior cavity of his body as he continues to champion illegal alien border crossers above the security of America…an insult to American citizens…to think we can’t see through the politics is simply ignorant…I’m convinced the President is unable to determine that he is surrounded by incompetent advisors.

Leaders in Congress continue idiotic political battles over war funding while warriors lives are lost, bodies are maimed, blood spilled, widows numbers grow, family devastation ignored…the leadership in Washington, D.C. is cold, callous, and without conscience…how they can ignore the blood of our warriors and family impact while pursuing political games is despicable at best.

President Bush’s approach to immigration is simply condoning illegal activity, betraying American citizens, and is proposing amnesty, pure and simple..why?  He has said over and over “we are a nation of laws” but he cannot muster the intestinal fortitude to enforce our laws…he should do the right thing and begin deportation of every illegal alien detected in America, and do it now.

One only has to total the crime associated with illegal aliens, terrorist plots(read recent plans to kill soldiers at Ft Dix, New Jersey), drain on medical care, safety on highways, melting pot impact, to name a few,  in understanding failure of government to do it’s job…this is not about picking on someone, discrimination, et al., its about the law, about protecting America.

The track record of America of late seems to be one of, start wars, throw the warm bodies in the mix, allow enough to die to create a political issue, start the spin for political advantage in continuining or ending the war, allow the forgotten to continue to die….  Only a radical, catastrophic national event will get the virus out of Congress…….with 435 new Representatives and 34 new Senators last November, many hoped there might be some recognition of reality….wrong, business as usual.

America’s enemies see victory on the horizon as spineless politicians crumble and the white flag is being readied for hoisting……..only this time surrender will be followed by an incalculable cost.  I fear America is indeed lost forever.

The media has been drooling over the recent anti-Bush, anti-troop increase, “non-binding” resolution blather being thrown around in the United States Senate…and many Senators seem favorably inclined (read listing to the left) to accommodate.

The sad aspect of the Senate, as in most politicians, is their ability to say one thing but when decision time comes, they are either absent or side with the majority…the recent example of cowardice by the United States Senate was in the vote to confirm General Petraeus as Commander in Iraq…….

General Petraeus, testifying and being questioned before the Senate Armed Services Committee,  told the Senators what he was going to do,  he couldn’t do it without a troop increase, said cutting and running would lead to disaster, all the things the Senators did not want to hear.  Yet,  the General was confirmed by a 81-0 vote.  I know Senator Johnson was in the hospital, but who the gutless 18 were that could, but did not vote I don’t know. I suspect it was many of those that didn’t have the courage to vote for Petraeus or against him…but many Senators continued to spew their anti-Bush, anti-troop, American is the problem venom, while saying they support America and the troops……….that is pure, unequivocal lies and political cover tactics.

Senator Hagel lashed out at his Senate colleagues stating,  “I think all 100 senators ought to be on the line on this. What do you believe? What are you willing to support? What do you think? Why were you elected?” Mr. Hagel said, his voice booming. “If you wanted a safe job, go sell shoes.”

My fax to Senator Hagel and others was “If you are not a shoe salesman Senator, then introduce a “binding resolution” to cut off the funds for the Iraq war and do it now.

Your rhetoric in the safe confines of the United States Senate mean nothing unless you exercise courage of words and take action.  Either put up or shut up.

If you don’t, you are branded as a hypocrite,  a coward, and worse, a traitor.”  

I hasten to add that Hagel’s, Kennedy’s, Warner’s, and others words do mean something…they give aid, comfort, and embolden the Islamic butchers. The enemy views them as weak, America as weak, America as divided, America as toothless…our warriors in harms way are put to disadvantage by the reckless anti-war shrill while these Senators quickly add “I support our troops”…I wonder how many good old gullible Americans will swallow this crap, close their mind, go back to sleep, or at least to a snoozing stupor……

United States Senators who carry out this farcical “non-binding” debate against President Bush’s troop increase are nothing short of traitors, should be tarred and feathered and left in Washington, D.C.

American Leaders Are Ignoring The Illegal Alien Crisis - WHY?

With all the bickering back and forth about Bush and his authority, etc, most of you fail to realize that Mr. George W. Bush has already proven that his interest are more on attacking middle eastern countries than on honestly protecting this great country.

Our southern border is the subject of his total neglect. Most don’t seem to realize it, but we have a national crisis right here at home which Mr. Bush totally ignores.

Since I am neither democrat nor republican, I judge our president only by their actions, or lack thereof. And, I see many faults with this president. His fascination on waging a war half way around the globe, while totally disregarding the war against thousands of illegal immigrants crossing our southern border with total impunity, is beyond belief.

It has been stated that recently, someone (I don’t have the facts about who it was) hired a mariachi band and a circus elephant, and marched, riding upon the elephant’s back, loudly across our southern border just to see how easy it was to enter this country through other than legal channels. He wasn’t stopped by anyone!

My point is that this country is indeed in a fight with terrorist. But while Bush concentrates on a war against terrorist on the other side of the globe, we are left with open borders where a great many of those coming into this country, illegally, are not of Mexican nationality.

Living in Texas, and perhaps seeing more of this illegal immigrant mess than others do, I need to tell you that this country is being quickly overwhelmed, via illegals entering our country from Mexico, and Bush does absolutely nothing about it at all.  With all the powers Mr. Bush has as president, he has failed to use them to protect the borders of this country, no matter how many troops he places in Iraq.

I am convinced the four of you are vicious, hateful individuals and hell-bent on destroying America.  The Islamic butchers are giddy over your anti-Bush, surrender language.

The President admits mistakes, we’ve all made mistakes, but I believe the four of you, and others, are teetering on grave miscalculations.

Many of us have criticized the President because we believe he has not done enough to win against the terrorists, not because we want to lose. The hateful speech and venom you spew in time of war, while troops fight for their lives and our freedom, indicates you want America to “lose” the war against the Islamic barbarians.  This is treason in my mind.

You can whine, criticize, call names, or whatever against Administration domestic policies but to attack the Commander in Chief’s war policies when all you offer is surrender can only be viewed as  ”anti-American”.  The childish, almost junk yard manner of political attack while America is at war, is aiding the enemy, a threat to our warriors on the battlefield and our nation.

Don’t tell me you are serving the best interests of America when the Islamic butchers gain encouragement, just like the North Vietnamese did from American politicians…the anti-war shrill is “aid and comfort to the enemy”, a bunch of barbaric, mindless, ruthless murderers. 

Remember 1979 American hostages in Iran; 1983 American Marines killed in Lebanon barracks;1985 TWA hijacking in Athens; 1985 Achille Lauro - Egypt; 1988 Pan Am 103 Bombing - Lockerbie; 1993 World Trade Center - New York; 1996 Khobar Towers Bombing - Saudi Arabia; 1998 Embassies bombed in Tanzania and Kenya; 2000 attack on USS Cole - Yemen; 9-11-2001 World Trade Center - New York City; all these attacks taking thousands of American lives. The nut-cases and mentality that conducted these attacks are the same murderers we are fighting today in Iraq and other places. What is it about all these attacks you don’t understand?  America is at WAR and you want to surrender.

You can elect a Democratic President in 2008, but for now President Bush is the Commander in Chief.  It appears your quest for power will go to any lengths to gain a political edge, even at the expense of blood and body parts of our troops, or even the survival of America.

You have no plan, just criticism of the other side…….you have no shame.  I was once a Democrat and feel tainted that I was ever associated with such a hate mongering, self-serving group of people…lest you think “here’s another Republican”….I’m no Republican either and will do everything in my power to defeat as many surrender, anti-America, immoral Democrats and Republicans in 2008 as possible…Independent minded Americans will speak in 2008, for now I support whatever it takes to destroy the Islamic threat.

Sleep well……troops are fighting and dying…needlessly because of political power hungry agendas and ignorance of the Islamic terror threat.
